Intro to Globalisation made using Articulate360

This video shows a learning artifact I created for the subject of Foundations of International Studies for the foundations course at UTS College. Here you can see a video from EDEOS which explains the three areas of  Globalisation embedded into the site. I created a set of activities to enable the students to learn, affirm and assess their understanding of the topic.

Why should I be an ally? Poster made using Canva

This poster was created using Canva. The reason for the poster is to create awareness amongst international students on the need for effective allyship with Indigenous peoples in Australia. It gives the audience context and information on the steps to take to become a better ally. The information was gathered and applied with inclusion and diversity in mind (resources, colours, text sizes and format).

Twelve traits of ethical intercultural communication

Infographic using Canva

This simple infographic was created as part of the Module Intercultural Awareness as part of the course I developed, Teaching and Learning Across Cultures, which is one of the subjects delivered in the Graduate Certificate in Student Centred Learning and Teaching.

The idea behind developing this subject was to develop students skills that will support practices that are inclusive, meaningful and accessible for students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

My personal and professional values are strongly based on championing inclusivity and diversity in my practices. I see difference as something that needs to be celebrated and supported and not a deficit.
